Nancy Swett started Great Peconic Communications, Inc., a marketing communications, editorial, and publishing services company, in 1995.

She writes, designs, and collaborates with regional clients on a broad range of multi-media projects. Great Peconic Communications and its network of professionals also offer consultation, planning, and budgeting services.

Clients have included regional businesses and non-profits, including the Ram's Head Inn and the Chequit Inn on Shelter Island, the Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), North Fork Physical Therapy, the American Heart Association, AAA Productions (Mohegan Sun radio, WEHM, WBAZ), the East End Women's Network, author and speaker Marcia Rosen, as well as others.

Currently, she also publishes and edits the web site, www.NorthForkParents.com. These properties provide both a service to the community and advertising opportunities to businesses and professionals.
