Nancy Swett is a writer with a background in various media.

Currently, she publishes the web site, www.NorthForkParents.com. In 2006, Nancy joined the ever growing internet blogger community with her own blog called "Back At The Ranch." She is the owner of Great Peconic Communications, Inc., a business communications company started in 1995.

Nancy is married with two children. The family has a year round home in Jamesport on the North Fork of Long Island.

Prior to relocating to the North Fork in 1992, Nancy worked in New York City. She was an analyst and editor of special reports at the Public Finance Department of Moody's Investors Service. She was a public relations and technical writer for the New York City-based environmental (water & wastewater) engineering firm, Hazen and Sawyer.

Among her writing credits are freelance news stories published in the Long Island section of the New York Times and a stint as an associate editor and columnist for the Riverhead-North Fork Independent Newspaper.
